Dolled up
A Dive Back Into Dress-Up Games
About This Project
Dolled Up is an immersive VR experience built in Unity, centered around a nostalgic, dreamy closet space inspired by the iconic wardrobe energy of Hannah Montana. The project was developed for our VR Design course as an introduction to Unity, Blender, 3D modeling, and scripting, pulling together a full pipeline from concept to interactive environment.

The Challenge
As a first dive into Unity and Blender, the challenge was learning an entirely new technical pipeline while simultaneously designing a world worth stepping into. Building an immersive closet environment meant figuring out 3D modeling, scripting, and VR interaction design all at once — with no prior experience in any of them.
The Solution
Dolled Up brings the dream closet to life in VR, a nostalgic space modeled in Blender and built out in Unity, where users can explore a playful, curated environment inspired by early 2000s pop culture aesthetics. Every script, interaction and some assets were built from scratch as part of the learning process.
The Outcome
An in-progress VR prototype that represents a full end-to-end learning journey , from zero Unity experience to a functional, explorable 3D environment. It is still being developed, with more interactions, music and polish to come.
